They're the same thing. Just cosmetic differences.

I do find it odd that I see maybe 5% GMC's on the road around here, but it seems there's 75% GMC's on here.

:dunno:

We are a rather vocal minority, aren't we?..... :)

Well here is the truth about this subject. The GMC crew cab is a glorified grocery getter for the white collar soccer dad. The Silverado is a working mans truck.:):dunno::D

One BIG difference -- Sierra Denali.

The AWD system on that truck is amazing, but you can't get it in a Chevy (even though the chassis goes down the same assembly line).

I personally prefer the looks of the Chevy with the "bulged" fenders, so I guess I'll be settling for AutoTrac .....

A denali really. Now I would hate to pull up on a job driving a denali. Defiantly white collar SUV with a bed.:):dunno::D

I still prefer having a low range gear available, thanks. One of the only reasons I opted for an All Terrain instead of going with an SD (other being the 6.2 would have been horrible on gas by comparison).

The fenders on the newer chevs look better than the Sierra's imo, but the gmc denali grille looks kickass , comes down to personal taste.

They are the exact same truck with different bodies, that's about it. IMO it comes down to which body style you like....At least GM gives us a chance to choose between them, Ford and Dodge just have cookie cutter trucks.

I agree... the Denali is an amazing truck! I am on the fence either way as to which trucks front end I like better. If your talking bone stock I like the Chevy's headlights and grill but from the bumper down I prefer the look of the GMC. I just looks tougher. As far as the sides of the truck goes I prefer the large flared fenders and bedsides of the chevy over the smaller flares on the GMC... but to each their own!

It seems I go back and forth between which truck I like as the new body styles comes our... but typically I lean more towards the GMC (except with the current body style) Just my .02 cents
