Gmc Sierra Or Chevy Silverado

personaly i can list 10 things i hate about the silverado cosmeticaly. is that a word? anyway what do u guys think

I'm partial to the GMC myself.

 

Part of that is because I have had a GMC in the driveway for the past 18 years though.

 

I think the Silverado is a nice looking truck but the oversize fenders and the "smile and fangs" look were turn-offs for me.

I've mostly had Silverados... but that evil grin front end is why I bought a GMC this time instead of buying another Chevrolet from a very good friend who owns a Chevy store.

 

That pretty much sums it up.

I think GM did a great job of actually making the GMC and Chevy offerings distinctive enough that people will like one or the other. Pretty cool. Both are great trucks.

I have owned several of both, and I still like them both. I went Chevy this time because I didn't care for the big chrome bumper on the SLT.

I bought the Sierra mainly because I liked the front end better than the one on the Silverado. Everything else on the trucks was same, so I went with the one I thought looked better.

I looked at the Sierra and the Silverado when I bought this one, and the Sierra won out mainly for the overall lines of the truck. It looked better from bumper to bumper, although there are some minor things on the Silverado that I wished were on the Sierra, such as the fog lamps. I liked the rectangle ones better then the round ones, but it is simple cosmetic stuff. Overall, they are both great trucks and you cannot lose on either.

03-07 classic i like the Silverado better but would buy a sierra if the opportunity presented itself.

up till now with the 1500s the chevys in the NNBS are better if you ask me and the big fenders are a 10 from me

If I was buying a LTZ or SLT I would have picked the Silverado. In the lower models especially the work truck which I have the Sierra looked a million times better in the front.

 

I added the chrome surround grill to dress up the front some from the all black grill. It was a cheap and easy fix. The Chevy, the whole bumper/grill would have had to be replaced to make it look decent.
