New-to-me Truck

Hey guys, new guy here... skipping the intro forum, headed straight here. I'm stoked about my new truck. Picked it up a week ago. Got a SMOKIN deal on this thing.

Dad has had a Chevy for as long as I can remember. I've always wanted one, but could never justify a full size truck. I've had dozens and dozens of other rigs, and I can't ever remember being as satisfied as I am in this thing going down the road.

Mileage has always been a concern for my daily driver, but now that my commute is 3 miles long, with only two stops signs, I think I will be okay

Here it is. It's got some miles on it, but you'd never know by looking at it or driving it. The engine bay is spotless. One owner before me, spent it's life in a non salt road area, obviously garage kept.

I'm in the process of working out a few small issues that it has. It's got the 4x4 switch issue, and it's currently giving me a solid service engine light. Need to go find the code to see what it is.

It's got a nail in the right rear tire, but holds air for a couple days (low in the pic obviously).

I also changed the battery already. That was the factory one still in there

I'm getting a bit of metal rattle sound from out back when I hit a certain RPM. Seems to happen worse when it's cold. I think it might be exhaust. Gonna have to see if something is loose under there.
