4 Things

Well after the loss of my dog, Curly, and breaking up with my "Sugar Momma", I have been doing a lil "soul searching". I am usually the first one to make lite of a situation, but I can on occassion be somewhat serious.

In '07 I left my wife, cause she was a cheating %*$#. The reason I put up with it for so long was because of my daughter. I realized that staying with my ex was just making it harder for me to show love to my daughter. My lil girl just turned 7 on Feb 13, and I miss her so damn much. She only lives about 2 miles from me, but I only get to see her every other weekend. She is my anchor, but it's getting so hard for me to not have my baby girl.

I'm just venting I guess, but it feels good to let it out once in a while.

Four things you can't recover:

The stone........after the throw.

The word........after it's said.

The occasion........after it's missed.

The time.........after it's gone

EDIT: I just realized I was in the wrong area, can this please be moved to off-topic?

Venting can really be a good thing there Felix so go right ahead. I can understand the situations and circumstances that life places on in that results in soul searching and evaluation.

Now this is just my opinion and doubtlessly there are other factors involved, but only getting to see your daughter every other weekend is just not right. Especially since she is so close by. That would drive me nuts knowing she is so close. Taking into consideration what you and your daughter would like, I'd be applying for much greater visitation rights.

The four things you can't recover are worthy to remember...and cherish the times spent with your little girl...

The only problem is that the damn court systems 90% of the time favor the mother.

Yep... Fathers are actively discriminated against in these situations. Even in situations where it is to the detriment of the child.

Sorry to hear about what you're going through, Felix. 2 miles away and not being able to see her more sounds like its own special kind of torture......

Keep your chin up, man!

This is why I love this site. No matter what's going on someone will crack a joke and I'll bust out laughing. Thanks guys. And to be honest I reported that her dad has marijuana in the house, she lives with her parents, and the courts did nothing to investigate. I know he does because I now where his stash is and I've busted him before.

The best part about her dad is that he and I got into 2 fights when I was still married to his daughter, and the first time I won hands down. He swung and missed and I laid into him. I broke his glasses and phone, busted his nose and lip, and knocked out his 2 front fake teeth. Am I proud that I beat him up, not really, but he swung first and I dont take shit from anybody.

The second time, he bull rushed me at the lake, while I had my daughter in my arms. I put her back on the boat, and swung 2 uppercuts. The first one whiffed, but the other one hit him square on the jaw. He went back, and was coming at me again, I was about to swing again when my ex-wife pushed me into the lake. The cops got called on that one too, but I was long gone when they got there.

I didn't start either fight, but I sure as hell wasn't going to let anybody swing at me without defending myself.

Am I proud of my self, no. Would I do it again if I had to, yes.

Yea I would be the same way. Im not one to start stuff but you when we fight you will know I'm there.

I may not win every time but the other guy will be feeling it the next day. I give you props on the fights tho bc is tough not to just want to beat the n law's every now and then.
