Helm is where I bought the factory service manual for my 08 Silverado. Shipping was about $30-40 if I remember correctly.

I got 4 books with my factory service manual set for around $150 from a dealer (they had to order it).

This was the service manual, fuel and emissions, electrical diagrams (big book), and unit repair manual.

So far as engine problems, the fuel and emissions book is the key.

Electrical problems, I'm constantly using both the service manual and electrical diagrams. One shows the diagram and the other shows how to replace the part!

Thanks for the link to helm. I just checked for the 2009 2500 HD manuals and they are not released yet. They are suppose to notify me when the are in.
