Since it seems all we talk about in here is stock car racing, I'm going to provide some variety.  Danny Lasoski, driving a car owned by Tony Stewart, one his first WoO championship this year.  He beat out the Mopar car of Mark Kinser by 30 points at the season ending race.  I'm glad he finally got a championship, cause I've liked the guy for 3-4 years now.  He is a very hard racer, the kind that I like to root for.  btw, if you guys get a chance, I suggest you got watch a WoO race live.  They put on a great show, and the drivers are more then happy to sign autographs after the race.  Went to my first one this year, and will be going to more without a doubt.

I used to follow WoO pretty close. I just don't seem to have the time anymore. It was easier when TNN showed a lot of the races, too. I've never seen them live, but have seen other Sprint Car divisions and really enjoy them.

To be honest with ya, I was hoping TNN would really step up their coverage of WoO after they lost the Nascar coverage last year.  But instead they seemed to cover fewer races.  I still try to catch as many of them as I can though, cause its always a good show.

 

I really don't care for open wheel racing, but sprint cars is the one form I like.  On both pavement and dirt.

Meanwhile, good to hear about Lasoski winning the championship.

 

Finally glad to have someone other than a Kinser or Swindell win it.
