Paint Matched Door Handles Installed And Found The Rattle Problem.

I went to install my new color matched door handles today and found something odd. I started with the install on the passenger rear door b/c they are smaller and figured I would get my first run done on it instead of big front doors. So I started pulling off the inner panel after removing bolts and what not to find that the metal bracket on the inside of the door panel that the window regulator or the motor, whatever it is, is attached to was hardly bolted down. There are 3 bolts with washers that hold this mount bracket to the inner door and all 3 had only about 2 threads screwed in.... This explains why I was getting a little rattle out of that door. How can something like this get overlooked? Anyways the door handles install went great from there, snapped a couple of pics but it was dark when I finished so excuse the crappy pics. I am also including pics of this bracket I spoke of that was not fastened correctly, if anybody else is maybe having same rattle out of that door.

That was a little funny . Mine was built in the hoosier state. Hard telling how much stuff is messed up.You know how them there Indy hoosiers are ,hell i can't believe my truck has any badges on it at all.

I did not know that when you refer to your inferior Canadian Silverado you meant this....

08 Silverado 1500 4x2. The driver's seat cushion is loose. I was doing some cleaning on my truck and noticed that the front of the cushion isn't attached to anything and that I can lift the cushion up an inch or more. I went to the passenger side and tried lifting it, didn't move.

 

There a TSB or anything for this problem? I did some searching and came up with nothing for this problem. Thanks.

Door handles look good
