New Z71 Pkg.

Hey guys......We just had a car-carrier drop off a new truck to us,and in order for him to get our truck off he had to take another truck off,I happen to look at it and thought "That looks different"

The Z71 decals looked different,The truck was White and the entire front-end was body-colored....The bumper,grille,and lower fascia were all White,I thought it was an LTZ at first but it still "Looked Different"...Then I looked at the window sticker....The truck was an LT with a new Z71 "Appearance Package" thats now available,Its RPO code "WEA"

Heres whats on it.........

WEA - Z71 APPEARANCE PACKAGE: * 18" ALUMINUM WHEELS * 18" ON/OFF ROAD BW TIRES * RANCHO SHOCKS * Z71 INSTRUMENT PANEL * BRIGHT SILL PLATES * CHROME TOW HOOKS * BODY COLOR DOOR HANDLES * BODY COLOR OSRV MIRRORS * UNIQUE FRT BUMPER LOWER FASCIA * COLORED GRILLE/CHROME INSERTS * FOG LAMPS * UNIQUE Z71 DECAL (MAY REPLACE STD/OPT CONTENT)

It looked sharp on the White truck I saw.

Lol @ chrome tow hooks....

Z71 is no longer synonymous with Offroad. Should be the "old man appearance package"

Edit: don't get me wrong, I'm sure it looked nice...

Sorry,He had it off,back on,and was outta' here before I could even look at it real good.

I did get a chance to jot down the VIN so I could run a build sheet.

I'm going to order the sill plates and Z71 decals for mine

I've been wanting them to do a package like that ever since they came out with the Z71 Tahoes. It is about time! Hmm.. do I really need a new truck?? Haha..

Interesting.... based on the package content it sounds like the "Z71 Appearance Package" is basically an "All Terrain" package for the Chevy trucks....

I'd like to see pics of the new style Z71 decals; I might just have to swap out the ones on my truck if they look nice. Should make my A/T even more unique....

Yep,Pretty much...Its got the Rancho shocks,Z71 logo I/P cluster,sill plates with the "CHEVROLET" embossed aluminum insert (Instead of GMC of course)

And yeah...The stickers are pretty cool
