Cowl Hood

i can get it from work for $425

Is that a good price for that hood? have you heard anything about this company?

i am also buying a new front fender cause there is about a inch long peice in front thats starting to bubble. so i am going to replace that, and take off the rockers, trim, pinstrip, stickers, fender trim and get my truck repainted. it is going to be a steath grey truck pretty soon so i am buying new metal to get rid of all my rust for sure and not leave anything in question. i am also getting a new drivers side door shell. the rust was fixed but the drivers side was worse than the passengers side so i am going to replace the drivers door so i dont have any issues down the road.

i can get the cowl, door shell, and the front fender for $760 for everything. and then im not sure exactly how much the paint will be. I am also getting the tranny rebuilt at the same time, that will run about $350-500 cause there is nothing wrong with it, pretty much just getting a tune up and a couple new parts. I am also going to take care of my rear main seal leak when its out.

That is going to be my project for the next couple months / summer, when i start getting parts i will start a build thread. I decided i am going to spend the money on this truck cause i like it and it will last me a long time after im done. i really wont gain anything by buying a new truck unless i get a 03+

Price on the hood seems good, but be sure to check with jegs. I got a great deal from them and they shipped directly to my house. Most places won't do that. Sometimes the shipping is ridiculous too. Jegs was very reasonable for shipping.

It'll look good. Check out goodmark as well (not sure if they have a 4"). The goodmark i put on my 2000 was better than OE quality. It was a really nice piece. That's not a knock on reflexxxion, as i have no experience with them. I was just super happy with the the quality of the goodmark.
