Tire Size W/no Lift Or Level

This discussion has gone several ways here at work, will 285/70R18's fit on a stock 4x4 NBS, some say yes some say no, I know they will with a leveling kit.

I run 285/75R16's on my 03 with no lift and know people that are running 305's but I am unsure about my new truck.

I tow a heavy trailer and really don't mind the factory rake of the truck but would like to plus 1 on the tire size.

Thanks, these trucks do have small wheel wells, I assume to help with Aerodynamics, I guess a leveling kit is the way to go.

I have a 09 Sierra with a NCD 2.5" level and i just installed a set of MT MTZ's 33"/12.5"R17's and i had to trim the mudflaps other then that they fit great.

Nope. Jeff (VMax) is running a 2.5" leveling kit and is running 285/65's and says he still sometimes rubs at full lock.

Yep, Nitto Terra Grappler 285/65R18's with a 2-1/2" Truxx leveling kit and they rub in reverse at full lock.

What are the width/offset specs on your wheels?

I knew someone was going to ask me that. I don't remember, but I do know they are very close to stock.
