Water Leak 2001 Silverado

i have a water leak that i think is coming from the windshield or from the firewall cowl .is there holes that get pluged up in the firewall or do the windshields sometimes leak ?anyone else have this problem?

My 95 Sierra leaks from under the dash somewhere. I thought it was the windshield until i found a goofy piece of foam trapped under my hood. I found the opposite piece on the other side of the hood and replaced the broken one with some super glue, and now it only leaks in thunderstorms.

 

The foam piece (when it wasn't broke) looks like it sealed between the hood and the cowel just below the wipers. I'm not sure if that's your problem, but it was mine. Hope that helps!

i found the leak .i thought it was comeing from the front .it was not ,that was where it was pooling, it was coming from the cabin vent in the back of the cab .the vent tabs where not holding the vent in place .heated the tabs back out .put the vent back in all is good .

Not meaning to hijack , but I came across this and wanted to ask if anyone on here has ever had trouble with water getting into the blower fan for the A/C. When it rains for a few days I have noticed a little water standing on the passenger floor mat. When you turn the A/C you can hear water hitting the fan.

 

Any thoughts?
