i just picked up a 2008 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 4X4..I went out and got a 4'' RANCHO lift now i want to buy some wheels maybe XD or MB gunner 6 20x10 or 20x9 and i wanted to know what offset and backspacing i can use without rubbing?? with a 33"or 35" tire

Forget about a 20x10 wheel.

With the 4" Rancho your best bet is a 9" wide wheel with 5.5" backspace (thats +18mm offset for a 9" wide wheel... offsets change depending on wheel width)

Also, go with a good 33" tire since you'll probably have to do some trimming with a 35 and that kit.. A good option would be the 325/50/20 Mickey Thompson ATZs

well yea, 305/55/20 works too, thats what im running with my 3" body lift.

I think 325/50/20's will look better with the Rancho kit which measures around 5" of lift... 305's may be a little thin looking of a tire with the extra clearance :thumbs:

ehh.. I'm running that size on a fabtech lift and it looks fine. It could use an inch or so of sidewall but the width is fine.... I was going to say the problem with tires rubbing is the width as much as it is the height. Im sure either would look good.

they're going to stick out about 1.5" beyond your fenders... 5.0" is the max backspace i would even think about considering with a 9" wide wheel.

I agree. ANY negative offset wheel is going to stick out and not look too good. I have 20x9 +25 wheels on mine and they sit under the fender lip. More offset also makes rubbing less likely or at least less obnoxious.

I dont think theres anything wrong with wheels and tires poking out a little, but without flares those are gonna stick out pretty far. Wheels with that much negative offset are harder on the suspension components on the truck as well.

Those wheels would work though for you, you have to be careful to not get wheels with too much backspacking because your tire might rub the spindle. Happened to me with the fabtech lift and 20" rockstars. The fabtech lift can clear the factory wheels but mine had too much backspace and with the 305 width they rubbed the spindle... sucked.

i'm trying to find something that sticks out a tiny bit and also has a nice size lip..

You really have to be careful with anything that sticks out. It will rub like a bitch when turning if you run anything larger than stock for a tire.

i find +18 offset and backspace is 5.71 will that work?

How wide are they? If they're 9" wide then It'll work perfectly :D

Exactly what im running (9 wide an +18mm)
