Gibson Super Truck Exhaust Installed

Been a while since I have posted....but just installed Gibson Super Truck System #65629 on my truck...I will get some picks and sound clip, once the weather gets better....It sounds great so far...fairly easy install.

Dang man.. did you buy it new?.. I've got a friend selling his cheap and it was only on his truck for a month or so.

Yeah i got it new from summit racing...had it the next day....The only trouble they got with the design is the rear hangers...they are a little long, and to close together...it causes for some alignment issues. Other than that took me about 45mins. Only video i got was a quick idle.

I have the Magnaflow system that exits in that location...I wish the tips on mine extended out that far.

 

Is the Gibson system stainless?

I had one of those on my '04 Sierra 2500HD. I loved the sound, it was like a race car. But holy crap was the highway drone rediculous, I thought my head was going to implode.

Yeah its all stainless, and answering another guys question, I haven't noticed that much drone on the highway....You can hear the switch of the AFM, its tolerable...but I disabled it with my Diablo.

sounds good, for me I would like less of the tips to show from the side and be further under the truck. Just me though.

The rear pipe sits slightly at an angle do to the hangers...going to work on them some more.

Outside my new pole barn, just got the metal all finished up today...40x64....its great....Garage doors will be in 2 weeks.
