Hello Gramps,

I have been busy and I have been lurking over at USGT. I ignored my roots for a while. I am getting ready to head stateside in a couple weeks for some riding. I am not sure which direction I will head but it will probably be south, east, or west. I picked up another sled that will probably end up being my youngest daughters. It should be delivered by the freight forward company by the time I am home. Are you ever going to make the leap from dirt to pavement? I'd love to kill some bugs with you. First bottle of Crown is in me.

Not sure about doing alot of pavement riding, don't do much, but I do ride my XR600 on the street to do local errands(it's street legal FTW).I'll ask around, maybe I can borrow one.Glad to see you're comming stateside,I'm sure you're glad to be going home.I know you were here for Xmas,so it looks like you try to come home twice a year or so.

Man that's a nice Beemer you just picked up..I was checking out the front suspension and sure does look different. Is that someting new? BMW is always coming up with someting innovative. It kinda looks heavy though? How big is the engine?

As far as the Crown goes.....bottoms up

It is a 1170 CC that is set up for cruising torque not pavement burning power. It is the last year (2004) of the cruiser model and has less than 1900 miles on it. I bought it as an extra for guests so if you ever make it to Idaho its yours. Light and very well balanced and nimble in the twisties. I am so used to my brutish hog that I wouldn't know how to behave with a lithe and limber dancing partner. BTW, to me anything under 800 pounds is light. It weighs 519lbs dry.
