Another Washed, Clayed, And Waxed Thread

Yesterday I spent 6 hours washing, claying, cleaning, and waxing the paint. Use my new Meguiar's Gold Class Shampoo, Smooth Surface clay with the Quick Detailer, Deep Crystal Paint Cleaner, then NXT 2.0 sealant. Today I applied the second coat of NXT. On recommendation of the Meguair's forum, I rinsed the truck prior to applying the second coat (it had been about 20 hours). When I wiped the water off the truck it was amazingly smooth, it was never that smooth, it's so awesome. Anyways, here are the pictures that were asked for, no befores, but it wasn't this sweet. Well, I sort of have befores in my garage.

Wow! It looks AWESOME!

I had planned to do mine this weekend, and it's been raining all weekend long. Go figure, who would have thought that we'd get four days of rain in New Mexico??? It never rains here! I guess I could have used the rain water as lubrication???

I love how smooth all that work made the paint. I was cleaning the windows properly and went to set a clean microfiber towel on the top of the cab (where it slopes down) the thing slid right off.

I hate when you know it's going to rain some weekend or soon after the weekend so washing is a waste of time but the truck looks so dirty. It tears you apart.

There are only a couple things that feel as smooth and slick as a clayed and waxed truck. Mmmm, and both are fun to ride in
