Superchips Cortex 2950 Programmer

Hi Everyone, I'm not sure if anyone would be interested but I have a Superchips Cortex 2950 programmer for sale. I bought it on March 29, 2009 from Summit racing and still have the original box, instructions, paper work, and receipt. I decided to add some additional modifications to my Trailblazer SS and this programmer isn't going to support them. Really just a matter of me getting the SS bug and wanting to make this already bad SUV even badder. My loss is hopefully your gain. Asking $275.00 for the unit, please be patient with responding and me responding back considering I'm new to the forum and not real familiar with how this works. Any questions just ask and I will try to answer them the best I can. Thanks Matt. :(

Will it work with a 2000 silverado in order to increase horse power. If so would you be willing to go down a little on the price

Hi brguzz, I believe it will work just fine in there and I can work with you a little on the price too depending on how much is needed. The unit lists the following vehicles as working with this model: 2001 - 2008 GM Diesel Truck, 1999 - 2008 GM Gas Truck/SUV, 1999 - 2009 GM Performance Car. What engine is in your Silverado? I can tell you roughly what it will add for horsepower if I know which engine you have. I listed the ratings below to give you an idea of the gains. Thanks and let me know. Silverado 1500 Truck 5.3L1999-20042950 CortexInternet Updateable+ 18.0 HP+ 17.0 lb-ft

Hi 2007victoryred, yeah I had it on my SS and it really made a huge difference on it, but like I said I am doing some additional mods that will not be supported by the Cortex. Hogue2008 are those the actual numbers for this programmer when used on the 2000 Silverado? If so, thanks... I was trying to find some information but everything was pretty general. 18 hp is much better than 10hp, hopefully I didn't scare brguzz away with some wrong information. Thanks for the help. :(

I found those numbers off of their forum so i would assume its right. if your trail blazer is in one of these 2001 - 2008 GM Diesel Truck, 1999 - 2008 GM Gas Truck/SUV, 1999 - 2009 GM Performance Car. it should work

Hogue2008 is correct, if your trailblazer falls within these years specified above then the Cortex should work for your application.

I just put the performance tune in my 2006 ECSB. Aside from the fact that its a handheld and most everyone here loves custom. (i bought this to correct the speedo with my new wheels) I have to say I love this tuner. My truck is like a whole new animal. If the tuner makes me this happy i cant wait to get blackbear which is my eventual plan.

If that doesn't sell this tuner I don't know what will. Thanks BlackLT06, that should get some people interested.

I also love my 2950 cortex i downloaded the mileage xs and the data thing so i can view track times and 0-60 times and you can also view speedo, rpm, engine load, throttle postion, bank temp, maf temp, fuel level, and a bunch of stuff. I can now spin the tires at a dead stop and it will grab 2nd sometimes

the first time my truck grabbed second I looked over at my father and he said "I wonder if they make one of these for my work truck...(05 F550 with a maintainer body)...FYI they do
