Silverado/sierra Tail Lights

I like the looks of the Sierra Taillights (back-up light at the bottom) much better than the Silverado ones (the back-up light in the middle), I would assume that there is no issue with swapping them out.

 

Now just to find a set of stock Sierra lights, any thoughts?

I don't believe they are interchangeable. If they were, I would be trying to find some Denali lights.

You would think so, however, it seems for the first time I can think of in the history of GM, they have really differentiated the Chevy and GMC products. The GMT900's in each brand have entirely different front end clips, I dunno about the taillights, but I'm sure someone on here will know. As far as the front end, if you wanted a GMC bumper on your Chevy, you'd also have to replace the headlights, grill, both fenders, and the hood.

Yeah, they are different for some reason. There was a set that someone tinted off a chevy and I wanted to swap... and was told they wouldn't fit.

Umm...no they aren't. Look at pictures, they are clearly different.

The bedsides are different between the Sierra and the Silvy, so the taillights aren't interchangeable.
