Canadian Delphi Source

Recommended Posts

Hi there

Looking for a Canadian vendor of Delphi products - for example, 20791502. GmPartsDirect/etc want $8usd for the pigtail, and like $30usd for shipping.

Thanks in advance!

I have a few projects on the go and here’s what I found; hope it will help someone out:

Foglight project

Needed two lamp pigtails, PT2390 or GM p/n 19168034. Local dealer wanted $76cad/ea, I got both, with shipping to my home in Canada for about $90cad from Rockauto.

Still need the GT 280 mega fuse terminal, it's heavier and will support 1.5-3mm wire, GM p/n 13525969

I had already ordered the "ACDelco D1527J GM Original Equipment Headlamp, Instrument Panel Dimmer, and Dome Lamp Switch" and "Premium 2pc Fog Lights Part#LTC23047" from amazon.com; the switch was $37 and the lamps were $25. Had I known I needed to obtain the PT2390s at the time (I hadn't done the research yet) I likely would've ordered the PT2390 pigtails from Amazon.com at the same time (about $30USD/ea).

Interior Accessory Project

Rather than tie directly into existing circuits, I decided to take advantage of the X14 SEO connector by the ebrake pedal, and will add two relay switched circuits . One circuit will be ignition based, the other will provide RAP capability. Documentation from GM Upfitter can be found a lot of places, but here it is again: http://www.gmupfitter.com/publicat/2011_BB/REV_2011_FS_PU_LD_Electric_1210.pdf

For this project I obtained 10 GT280 terminals GM p/n 15304711 for $20cad all in from Kent-Automotive.ca, their p/n is KT12882.

Unfortunately, Kent-Automotive.ca was unable to source me the heavier terminal previously mentioned. :(

I obtained the X14 Pigtail GM p/n 20791502 from the dealer directly. You can find these all over the US for $8usd, but like $30usd for shipping to Canada. Again, had I done the research at the time, I'd have ordered this to my US parcel pickup, but I've been avoiding overusing that lately given the dollar (and time investment to head over!) Local dealer cost was $30cad all in.

RE: the dealer

Maybe had I gone to a different dealer, the experience would've been different; The parts guy at dealer I went to was blunt: "because you're providing part numbers you got from the internet, you pre-pay, and if it's not what you expect, too bad, no refunds. The part numbers are likely US part numbers and might not line up with the Canadian catalog"

Hope this helps!
