What wheels/tires and air pressure? (didn't look it up, but am assuming LT has optional sizes available) They have significant impact on ride. Last 1500 I had was on factory 20's, but also had a set of factory 18" take-offs that were used in winter. Winter set-up provided better ride, even if noisier with a blockier tread pattern. Summer set-up provided better cornering and fuel mileage, but rode noticeably firmer. All that said, 1500's have a relatively bouncy ride. One of the reasons I'm back in a 2500.

The truck probably has it's own engine oil temp display. 2020 Acadia gasser has one. Maybe some of the other 3.0L owners will pipe in with what temps they are seeing. Oil temp is one of the things they use to determine if the auto start/stop will function. Engine computer program will be programmed to give a warning if temp is too high. This engine has TWO engine oil temp sensors --- according to the 'information' bulletin from last fall . (and about 7 engine coolant temperature sensors) Cooling System Overview The Duramax® 3.0L utilizes GM’s advanced cooling system strategy known as Active Thermal Management (ATM). ATM distributes coolant through the engine in a targeted manner, sending heat where it’s needed to warm up the engine, thereby reducing friction. Just like the 6.6 dmax, the turbo, scr and dpf make it quiet enough that there is no muffler or resonator. On the 6.6 the emission stuff is under the truck. On the 3.0 it's in the engine bay. Visual inspection will require opening the hood....

Video interview of one of the GM engineers suggested part of it is better aerodynamics on the silvy. The other part is the way the tests are done. EPA requires that if an option is purchased on a certain % of vehicles that the impact (weight?) of that content be included in the testing. Wireless CarPlay is being supported by Apple starting ''recently' (not sure exactly when) Yes, from the initial release of Carplay, until very recently, it would not work without the cable connection. Presumably the vehicle must also support wireless Carplay for it to work, so many/most vehicles will require an update (if one is available, otherwise SOL). Yes, phones can play music wirelessly using just the Bt connection -- but as questioned above bt music streaming is not the same as running Carplay or AA. Music can be streamed with just the Bt connection but that is not the same as running AA or CP, which have always required a calbe connection -- until recently.

Shouldn't regen any different. The change is in the monitoring of the frequency of regens. If it is regening too often the current programming MAY not be notifying. FWIW, it doesn't say 'voluntary' on the GM Canada notices, even though the Cdn emission stuff is usually done the same as in the US. Might depend on what colour your truck is. If they sold you colour match for a colour the factory doesn't supply, then they planned on painting them. Either way, the dealer installs them. A capable body shop should be able to paint them without peeling if it's not a factory supported colour. Not in a 6.6L Dexos is NOT the spec for the 6.6L Duramax!! 2020 Duramax 6.6L supplement calls for 15W40 CJ-4 or CK-4 Manual suggests 5W-40 for long periods of operation belwo 0*F There are many sources of 15W-40 CJ-4 or CK-4, as that is probably the most common engine oil spec in the diesel world. FWIW, 2020 Duramax 3.0L supplement calls for 0W-20 meeting the Dexos D specification. My dealer changed mine for me too. After the change, the phone app shows the new programmed number as 'recommended'. (When loaded and running higher pressures, I don't get the monitor reprogrammed) FWIW, the 2500's are typically 70 rear, instead of the 80 rear that is typcal on the 3500's.

GM diagnostic procedure seems to indicate they are taking the position that it is a characteristic of the new (for 2020) fan drive. Kinda like the their position on the typewriter tick.

2020 infotainment guide seems to verify the info as you've already posted. How much data on the USB? Have you tried a smaller subset?
