  1. If the BCM can command them 'on' with the unlock routine, then it would seem it's not getting the 'on' request from the button/switch. Presumably the installer/programmer checked that they were working. How have you had it? Maybe switch is disconnected from harness? Pin pushed out?
  2. It's a 22. I was assuming it was brand new or demo and a dealer employee did it. I'm thinking it's different if they filled it at/near the dealer an didn't drive it -- and didn't idle to much, vs work as a demo where it might have got a bunch of miles with testers 'seeing what it will do'. Then there's the question of why they need to change emissions parts vs just drain and flush.
  3. Any idea how much it was run before they figured that out?
  4. I don't know the change in msrp for the 2022LTD AT4 vs refresh AT4, but there is a $13,000 increase from the refreshed AT4 to the AT4X. Lots of extra 'goodies' AT4X msrp is more than the 'regular' Denali
  5. I'd vote 3.0 (they are are 10 speed). It's available in the refreshed RST if that's the trim you like to drive.
  6. The factory one doesn't look like that. That is the accessory one -- and it's available because the factory one can't be retro-fit. Newdude posted a link to the page that shows it at GM Accessories. It's made and warrantied by Curt
  7. What trim do you have? Which tailgate does it have currently? QK1 Tailgate, standard A60 Tailgate, locking, utilizes same key as ignition and door QK2 NEW! Tailgate, Multi-Flex, with six functional load/access features QT2 Tailgate, gate function manual, no EZ Lift QT5 Tailgate, gate function manual with EZ Lift, includes power lock and release QT6 Tailgate, gate function power up/down with power lock and release
  8. It's been over 2 months since your December post. Any updates?
  9. Fair enough. Otoh, with todays vehicles the ecm is already watching anything the vehicle has a sensor on, and is already prepared to derate if necessary and to notify the operator when appropriate. Way different than it was prior to computers and electronic everything.
  10. I regularly use the HUD with polarized glasses. R/L and U/D positioning seems to matter. (I have it low on the windshield) If I can help it I won't have another vehicle without the HUD. If I turn my head and look thru a corner of the lense it will disappear -- but in normal head position it is fine.
  11. 2021 5.3 and 6.2 both take 8 qt, so that's not an good reason.... (2.7 and 4.3 take 6) Presumably you are also going to be checking oil level yourself. You will get the most accurate heck of the level after it has sat for several hours. Overnight is best. If the dealer is also wanting to check, I'd guess it will be a 'bring over every and let use check' every so many days/weeks thing. Sitting for a few minutes (like when getting fuel) they'll know if it's excessively low, but won't get an accurate read of small changes. Not long ago I had an oil level (over filled...) issue with a dealer and was very surprised at the service adviser's lack of knowledge regarding oil level checks. (I realize they aren't techs - but it's a pretty basic thing for someone in the vehicle service business)
  12. For 1500 pickups Satin Steel was available for the 2022LTD's (although it did eventually become 'unavailable to order') It has never been available to order for the 2022.5 (2022 refreshed) pickups. It they saw it last week they were looking at a something other than refreshed 1500 pickups. Satin Steel Metallic, G9K, is still available on full size SUV's. You, me, and lots of others, are disappointed.
  13. New promotion for truck month https://gmauthority.com/blog/2022/03/chevy-truck-month-promotion-offers-free-accessories/
  14. Trailer tow mirrors (DQS) are now not available on high trim Sierra's. Long time GMC fan/driver (35 years) but might have to switch to a chev...

  17. OTA updates are for audio unit only. ECM update on these trucks requires dealer visit. Mines never done it. Update applied around 17,000 miles.
  18. I think I've read that the sensors have changed/updated between 18 and 20 model years.
  19. Originally announced to start Feb 7 and March 6, the start dates were pushed back to Feb 21 (Silao) and Mar 14 (Ft Wayne) Silao should be building 2022.5's now (as of last week). Ft Wayne is supposed to start up in March. Oshawa is building 2500's (chev only) and is preparing to also build 2022.5 1500 Silverado's.
  20. Does it come on if you turn the headlights to 'ON' instead of 'auto'?
  21. Maybe a box end wrench? Maybe a socket on a breaker bar?
  22. Congrats! Even has the desirable 'not equipped with auto stop/start' option
  23. The window sticker says assembled in Indiana. Parts -- 43% CAN/US, 44% Mexico
  24. The map cards can only be used on one vehicle -- once used, it is tied to the vehicles VIN. Might want to check the position of the lock switch on the card - and try the other position
