  1. We have very good internet at this location. This site is the only one that has these problems. EDIT to add: when this site running slow (or locking up) my computer/internet performance immediately returns after leaving this site and heading to another.
  2. Anybody else have troubles with their computer freezing while using this site? This lockup/freeze has happened a bunch of times in the last week, maybe a little longer. Won't respond, fans kick in and run on high (like it's working hard). Only escape seems to be using the power switch. (Maybe I'm not patient enough.) I regularly visit a bunch of other forums and this is the only place this occurs. (none of the others use the same software as this one). Antivirus software has not popped up with an issue.
  3. What 'remaining range' is your truck saying when the low fuel light comes on?
  4. Until it's announced it's speculation. Could also be like the 1500 and change 1/2 way thru a model year. 1500's plants are changing from '2022 Limited' to '2022 Refreshed' (2022.5?) mid-year. iirc Silao in Feb, Ft Wayne in Mar. New model year production 'typically' starts during summer. That's getting awful close for there to be no official announcements yet.
  5. If a partial regen occurs it will resume (not restart) at it's next opportunity. On LM2 they seem to take about 11 or 12 miles to fully complete. There is no notification that a regen is occurring -- unless it is unsuccessful after multiple attempts and the soot load gets well above the usual regen trigger level. Miles between regen will depend on how it is being used., but likely between 200 and 500 mile intervals -- could be as long as 700.
  6. DEF is used whenever it is running. Fuel filter housing has a 12v electric heater. Plugging in does not keep the fuel warm.
  7. Just pick up a camaro for a donor car... LT4 Engine, 6.2L supercharged V8 DI, VVT (650 hp [485 kW] @ 6400 rpm, 650 lb-ft torque [881N-m] @ 3600 rpm)
  8. Depending on the trucks mileage and in service date, a '19 could still be under warranty
  9. I frequently start at 0F or slightly below. We rarely get much below 0F at my location. We often get weeklong periods when daytime temps don't get above 10F. Pickups live outside. 12 or 14 years of 6.6's and the current 3.0s. Never had one plugged in. Never had a problem starting one. Yes, we have several machines/vehicles around that will not start at 32F without being plugged in or given a sniff of ether. Duramaxes are not in that 'hard to start' category. They are also quick to warm up.
  10. Your duramax experience has been different than mine. However, drive what you want. They offer multiple drivetrains and multiple load/tow capacities because everyones wants/needs are not the same.
  11. Then it is in need of repair.
  12. Used to be a different trim piece to put on in place of the front license plate mounting. We require front plate here. GM still forces this option for deliveries to front plate destinations. VK3 License plate kit, front (will be forced on orders with ship-to states that require front license plate) Presumably that means they still have the alternate trim piece available. Might be worth checking one of the on-line parts companies, or wander up to a nearby dealers parts counter.
  13. Did you try 'push and hold'? Most similar push button systems will scroll when button is held, and will also increase scroll speed as hold time increases.
  14. There is a step-by-step diagnostic procedure determine if the source of the increased parasitic loss. Clearly it shouldn't be dead after 48 hours. Anything been added / plugged in that is causing additional drain?
  15. They changed a couple years ago from the label in the glovebox to the QR code on the door post. Phone camera can read the QR code. Depending of phone, might need to download an app. QR code won't be a complete list of the codes. Any dealer can print full listing from the vin. GM social media might send you a complete sheet.
  16. I've always ordered without a deposit and without signing anything. Always with a dealer contact that knows me, but a couple of them we spec'd out over the phone.
  17. To my eye the effect of the chrome also depends on the paint colour it is combined with. Some colours it blends in, others it sticks out like a sore thumb.
  18. Sailor, there is also a long list of things that prevent auto stoop/start from stopping. Any of these apply with your ride? Auto Stops may not occur and/or Auto Starts may occur because: . The climate control settings require the engine to be running to cool or heat the vehicle interior. . The vehicle battery charge is low. . The vehicle battery has recently been disconnected. . Minimum vehicle speed has not been reached since the last Auto Stop. . The accelerator pedal is pressed. . The engine or transmission is not at the required operating temperature. . The outside temperature is not in the required operating range. . The vehicle is in any gear other than D (Drive). . Tow/Haul Mode or other driver modes have been selected. . The vehicle is on a steep hill or grade. . The driver door has been opened or the driver seat belt has been unbuckled. . The hood has been opened. . The Auto Stop has reached the maximum allowed time.
  19. Or an issue with the coolant distribution valve
  20. Take it for the programming update to get the crank timeout / no start corrected.
  21. Is it on the tire size it was born with? What does the door sticker say for pressure for that size?
  22. And I've found roads that aren't in google maps. It happens. Of course if you do googles job for them and let them know, then they will add them.
  23. That's they they have always done those features in the trucks. Not user selectable. (or dealer either as far as I know) Like your caddy, our Acadia doesn't shut them off either. So it seems to be a truck thing, not a divisional thing. And if manually started (instead of remote) it will turn the comfort stuff on (and later off) automatically if it thinks it is necessary.
  24. Routing can change depending on settings selected. Shortest vs fastest can sometimes make unexpected changes. Avoidances/preferences can too. Doesn't matter what gps / mapping source is in use. Of course no setting fixes map that doesn't yet show a new road. Sometimes they don't add them til they are 'assumed' by the municipality.
  25. Imho, it sounds a lot more like a transmission issue that a brake issue.. Flashing 'N' should help with diagnostics.
