  1. Supercruise is optional on High Country and Denali It will be standard on 'Denali Ultimate' Not sure when the plan to make it available... UKL NEW! Super Cruise, a hands-free driver assistance feature for use on compatible roads, includes automatic lane changing and trailering capability, 3-year subscription 1 - Late availability. Requires Crew Cab Short Bed, (CWM) Technology Package and (L87) 6.2L EcoTec3 V8 engine or (LM2) Duramax 3.0L Turbo-Diesel I6 engine.
  2. Order guide shows the LTD's with the same rating as 2021.
  3. Don't forget that I don't have a lot of towing. Petro-Can is the brand. Distributer has multiple cardlocks in the area I frequently travel. They are busy, semi-truck accessible, locations. They delivered bulk fuel (gasoline and off-road (dyed) diesel) to our location when we were still in business. When I first started running diesel pickups the volume being used didn't justify another tank for road fuel, so used cardlock for undyed for pickup. (and I didn't want to pay the road tax on the fuel for the off-road engines) Yes, the revenue types do dip vehicle tanks in the area sometimes. Yes we have co-op, not sure if that's the same company as your area. Could have used them instead. It was just the luck of the draw that we chose who we did when we started getting deliveries about 30 years ago. I'm not sure if co-op has any cardlocks in my area -- but they do have lots of stations with diesel, and do deliver diesel to tanks at customer locations. 30 years, many diesels, never use additives and have never had fuel (or injection) issues.
  4. The built-in system can give verbal instructions without using onstar -- just like a portable aftermarket one can. Type in the address (or search for an select a destination) and then follow the map and verbal instructions available -- just like the aftermarket ones...
  5. Brainfart or something that is 'top secret'?
  6. Mine are power fold -- but I never seem to have enough space inside to fit the truck. Do love the remote start to warm it a little before going out in the snow.
  7. It's amazing how often these issues turn out to be an intermittent issue in the trailer wiring. Even with new trailers. that's for posting and updating!
  8. I don't have a headache rack, and my crossbed box is currently in storage, but there are solutions that will permit both. Some will also work with a tonneau https://magnumtruckracks.com/blog/no-drill-truck-headache-rack-installation
  9. GM dealers that do tire and wheel packages... Tire and wheel shops that do tire and wheel packages... Some truck accessory shops... Don't always advertise in autotrader/c'list/crapbook/etc last set I got was from a truck accessory place. Take-offs (came with tires and wheel sensors) that still had the nubs on the tires. Not the tires I wanted so changed them at tire shop
  10. And now GM does offer E-lockers, both front and rear. Yes, for now at least, only on 1500 ZR2 and AT4X. G80 rear remains standard on most trims (and available on the lower trims where it is not standard) G80 Auto-locking rear differential On AT4X and ZR2 e-locking is standard front and rear (and G80 is not available) G93 Differential, driver-selectable full-locking front, e-locking G94 Differential, driver-selectable full-locking rear, e-locking I'd be more interested in the Multimatic DSSV shocks...also only available on ZR2 and AT4X ZRX Suspension, Off-Road with 2" factory installed lift and Multimatic DSSV dampers 1 - Not available with 22" LPO wheels and tires.
  11. Who did the lift installation?
  12. Sensor is supposed to go off before the tank is completely empty, just as low coolant goes off before the coolant is completely gone and the oil level sensor goes off before the engine oil is completely gone. It's one of two things. Tank level is lower than sensor OR there is a problem with the sensor (or its' wiring). Fill the windshield washer fluid tank, so it is for sure over the sensor. (if the dealer didn't do this they should be ashamed...) If the problem goes away -- operator error / misunderstanding If the problem still exists -- dealer error / incompetence --- or maybe an intermittent wiring / sensor issue
  13. All duallies are long beds. I screwed up, but the DRW is still (a little) shorter than the srw long bed (or the data table was revised?) (Corrected) Height Spec for 2022 crew 3500: std bed srw - 80.87 long bed srw - 80.67 dually bed --- 80.04
  14. If you pay for the full onstar package there is an available turn-by-turn navigation that onstar can/will provide. This is different from the built-in nav. Built in nav will still function -- but not everybody has the built in system. Another alternative is to use phone based guidance through AA or CP. Or go old school.
  15. I frequently run 600 miles on a tank, so I'm not sure how to factor that in mpg when it regens 2 or 3 times per fill. Also will depend on when it last regened, relative to when it go hooked to the trailer. (meaning, did the soot load start at zero when the tow started? Probably not) Fwiw, I don't care how much it regens or when. As long as I'm happy with the fuel economy and as long as it's not necessary for to do extra driving (or otherwise help 'manage the process) then I'm happy. Here's the mpg graph. It is life of vehicle (def doesn't start til about 3500 miles) 'Life of vehicle' fuel mileage for the graphed data is 25.6. Deep drops are when it was towing. Actual mileage while towing mpg is worse than shown. Tow trips less than a full tank, so points are combo tow and not tow. Trailering app averages show 14 - 16 mpg depending on trailer. (so a little lower than the lows on this chart)
  16. I have 16,000 or so miles on my LM2. I installed and idash (for ****** and giggles) and have logged every regen for the last 11 months / 13,000 miles. Some longer trips during the warm weather, but most is daily driver / local trip miles. Despite what I expected to see, the 550 - 650 mile intervals occurred when towing. (exhaust temperature is quite a bit higher towing, but not as hot as regen) Except for some purchase at the far end of some of the summer trips, all fuel is from the same fuel depot/cardlock. Anyway, point of all this is that I'm not convinced a tank or two of different fuel will give an accurate indication of 'miles between regens'. Remember -- except for a few fills, all fuel from same supplier, same location.
  17. Certainly wasn't my idea that trailers for pickups need parking brakes.....
  18. Park brake on air semi brake systems is spring applied. No air supply or electric supply in use for parking -- or when disconnected. Seems the problem is really a trailer issue? More federal regs could fix that....
  19. On our trucks, the adaptive cruise can be easily switched to regular cruise when conditions suit regular better.
  20. This can be used to see how close the OD's of the factory tires are to each other. What matters is the tire OD (and revolutions per miles) not the diameter of the rims. https://tiresize.com/comparison/
  21. Many many threads on this subject on the sites that focus on the 6.6 Bottom line is use whatever you want. I'm currently using bulk from a truck stop pump, but that is not convenient for everyone. Before we moved, this was not convenient so was a 2.5gal jug user for many years. Only ACDelco branded used in any of mine was what may have been it it when delivered new. Peak now has two versions. Save your money and use the original Peak Blue if you decide to use that brand. Manual says: Use only DEF that is GM approved, or fluid containing the API certified or ISO 22241 label. The use of other fluids could damage the system, requiring costly repairs that will not be covered by the vehicle warranty. You are going to find that all brands will have ISO 22241 on the label.
  22. This is what the 2 camera one looks like on a 21 1500 Denali (came with optional Technology Package . CWM Technology Package, includes (UVS) HD Surround Vision, (DRZ) Rear Camera Mirror, (UVN) Bed View Camera and (UV6) Multicolor 15" Diagonal Head-Up Display On my 2021 1500, I ordered it for the 'bed view' and HUD. I love the HUD, but always use the regular mirror mode instead of rear camera mode. On 2022 2500 Denali it is also optional, under the same RPO code, along with the HUD CWM Technology Package, includes (DRZ) Rear Camera Mirror and (UV6) Multicolor 15" Diagonal Head-Up Display On 2022 2500 Denali, bed view camera is standard UVN Bed View Camera, camera in the CHMSL to show a view of the cargo bed, display located in infotainment screen, includes Two Trailer Camera Provisions
  23. Sorry, factory ordered mine so no part numbers. You mean you already have a CHMSL with one camera built in? If so, you'll want the one with 2 cameras (they are side-by-side in the centre of the housing, below What year, cab and trim are you wanting to fit this to? One version puts bed view into rearview mirror, the other onto infotainment screen. Depends on trim and options installed. fwiw, there are also 2 rear vision cameras. (one is HD) I don't know if the 2 camera chmsl has both regular and hd rear vision versions or if all the 2 camera ones have the HD rear vision.
