  1. Current Edge insight will display active cylinders. Jay
  2. I would not ship, I would fly in and drive home. That way you can drive before you buy and as mentioned make sure it's a US truck with the correct emissions for where you live. A plane ticket these days is probably cheaper than shipping although you would still have to pay for the fuel to dive it home. Jay
  3. I don't see why not. It just plugs into the OBD port so just plug it in when you want to use it. Jay
  4. For 2019 it all depends on when the truck was produced. I don't remember the exact date but if it was produced before March 1st 2019 (or something very close to that) it didn't have the updated fluid and could have the shudder. Jay
  5. It's wants your On-Star/My GMC/MyChev password.
  6. While they released a DFM disable, it doesn't work on anything with the 10 speed trans yet. Jay
  7. You need a relearn tool. Changing tire pressure doesn't work on the newer trucks.
  8. I have no issues with my 2019 Denali connecting to my iPhone 11 pro or my Samsung S10E. I agree it's time for a dealer visit. Jay
  9. The only time I have an issue is when it's snowing and the roads are sloppy/slushy. It has something to do with ice coating or hanging on something. As soon as I get up to highway speed (stuff warms up) or all the stuff melts out from under the truck the issue is gone and the 4wd light is back to normal color. Unless the TCCM is somewhere it can get ice on it thats not the problem. Jay
  10. I agree with the sensor theory. I only have issues when there is a lot of road spay from the melting snow and temps below 25. Once I get up to highway speed the problem clears and the 4wd indicator goes back to white and the service 4wd goes out so ice buildup makes sense. Jay
  11. Do you know which sensor?
  12. Before you do anything take the truck out on the highway and get it up to at least 60mph. The sensors are shipped from the factory in a sleeping state to preserve the batteries prior to use. Then put the truck in TPMS learn mode and try again with the tool. I had to do this with my 2019 when I put winter tire and new rims on my truck I got from Tire Rack. The info was given to me by a service manager friend from a Chevy dealer in Minnesota. He said it's a common problem with new sensors. Most of the time spin balancing will wake up the sensors but not always. Jay
  13. I tried this on my 19 Denali. Left the truck off and locked for 2 hrs. Reached in and opener still worked (key was in the house). My wife's 18 Traverse is the same way. Jay
  14. Those screen things are only on the 5.3l. The 6.2l has real resonators. Jay
  15. You can turn the Traction Control and Stabiltrak off but they will come back on at 35mph no matter what you do with the switch. I have had this in the past with previous generations of trucks when plowing and it was always snow/ice related (went away when snow melted off truck). Jay
  16. When the steps are in hold the switch down until you get a message telling you they are disabled. I have mine that way for the very reason you state. Jay
  17. It's the 8 speed transmissions that are getting new fluid to deal with a shutter issue, not the 6 speed. Hopefully yours is fixed. Jay
  18. There is a fuse in the under hood fuse block for the trailer battery power. I think it's fuse #2. It's not normally installed from the factory. In all my previous trucks all I had to do was install the fuse to send power to trailer battery. Jay
  19. Any tuner that uses EFILive can tune the 8 speed trans. Jay
  20. If you have a friend/neighbor with EFIlive they can program back to stock any time. I don't know about any hand held tuners ability to change the speed limiter to ECM from other module. Most (if not all) hand held tuners will raise the speed limiter number shown in the ECM, but if it's set to other module it doesn't matter because it's controlled by the BCM. Jay
  21. Know anyone with EFILive or HP tuners? You could get someone to do it for the cost of a VIN license. $125 for EFILive. Jay
  22. Here is a pic from the ECM in my truck using EFILive.
  23. 2014 and newer trucks have the option in the ECM to have the BCM control the speed limiter. If that is enabled in the ECM a hand held tuner may not change the speed limiter. You can do it with EFILive and probably with HP tuners software. Jay
  24. Torque management reduces power during shifts to protect the trans. If you remove it you get full power shifts and the clutches won't last very long. You could also break some hard parts. Jay
  25. They can also read measured torque values in the TCM. Not a big deal unless you add a turbo/super charger on a gas engine. This and the CVN are how they reject warrantee claims on the Duramax. Jay
