    You may have to Lemon Law and then you could get a 2018 which others have said the seats are softer.

    New truck. Take it to the Dealer and have them fix it. It may need a new radio.

    Passenger side fuse panel. #27 I believe a 15amp fuse. This was from a google search. Worth a shot. Others stated the Dealer had to replace the USB port.

    It may be 2 seperate issues. I would fix the ribbon first as it is an easy inexpensive fix. Follow the pictures in this thread and take your time. I would also do a Google search for how to release a stuck DVD. Good luck.

    You should have looked at the Lemon Law in your state and hired a Lemon Law attorney in your area who gets paid as part of the settlement with no out of pocket expense to you in most states. That"s what I had to do with my 2015 Tahoe and got all my money back plus the GM accessories that I had installed minus a small amount for mileage. The area GM rep tried to give me $2500.00 trade assistance, needless to say I declined.

    Sorry thats what I meant, the magnet. Brain fart. It looks like a tiny battery and thats how I was trying to describe it. Its worth trying as it apparently works for some and not others. Mine is not intermittently and works all the time. Not sure why it works for some and not others.

    jhbrennan, there are directions with pictures in one of the threads but basically you open the console lid, remove the bottom cover, remove the module and open the module, remove the magnet, looks like tiny battery then reverse the procedure to put everything back together.

    Removed the module battery on my 2017 and it works perfect on my iphone 8, took about 10 minutes.

    According to pgamboa I thought the 2017 cable would not plug into the 2018 module without some sort of modification which is why he designed the new cable.

    Whatever you decide to buy make sure you take it for a good test drive. As you see others like the MRC ride and when I had my 15 LTZ before the 17 I had no problem with the ride. A lot of it is personal preference. Good luck with your decision.

    Have you looked at the Lemon Law for your state. There are several post on here about the charging pad and how to make it work. i though there was a bulletin for the steering. The vibration has also been discussed and how to address it.

    TRN, do a search as some are removing the little magnet from the pad and they are working. Others are swapping out the charging module for the 2018 module and they are working.

    I had the click under the dash and it turned out to be the steering angle sensor. Have not had it repaired as of yet since the whole steering column has to come out. Was told by the tech that some Silverados had the same problem.

    I call B.S. on this and a few other option changes. As i read the first post it states GM will offer the 8 speed for all 2015 full size Trucks and SUVs with the 6.2. I believe some have already been delivered without the 8 speed and some have been ordered without the 8 speed. Remember the first post said all 2015s. Also those of us who stepped up to the plate early on and paid around 60,000-70,000 are missing out on the now being released foot sweep tail gate opener and 4G hot spot Wi-Fi and as I understand a couple of other options down the product line.Doesn't say much for GM and as the post stated GM needs to get their heads out.
