Nerf - Step Bars For Silverado?

Recommended Posts

So the wife is pregnant and I was thinking about getting nerf bars for the truck.

Anyone have actual pics of their nerf bars installed on their 2004 or equivalent silverado 1500 (I think 99-05) ? I have an Ext cab and prefer those and not wheel to wheel styles.

I want to get a set for mine and want to SEE whats out there.

I have looked at the dealer sites, but their pics arent that great.

Thanks for posting 'em!

I was thinking about getting the Westin ovals (seen below),but am open to suggestions.

I had two sets on my 2000 and liked these the best. They are made by westin. They are a wider set.

or if you want to spend a little more money and dont want the look of having steps get the amp power step...it folds away but actaully creates a 8" step. I went on a ride along with a bestop rep for a while and got to say it is a awsome product. Especialy for the lifted crowd you can have a step that only shows up when you open the door then it retracts into the body....making a clean shaven look to your truck without the bulky bars hangin out.

I like those, but they are over $1000! Well out of my price range.

no up close pics sorry. The mounting area is up front and in the middle of the bar.

4wheelparts.com is having a sale right now. I just order N-fab for $353 shipped to their store here in charlotte. I think this is the best deal that I could find. I think it'll look great on my black crewcab.

They actually charge you to ship it to their store?

No, free shipping to store. I'm going to charlotte this week to visit some friends anyway. Therefore, just going to pick them up at their store. Otherwise, it would be around 60 bucks to ship to my house.
