Color Matched Bumpers?

I appoligize for the double post, I'm an idiot and didn't realize I was in the Full Economy board.

 

Anyways....

 

Has anyone ever looked into color matching the bumpers on a nbs Sierra?

 

I'm looking at getting one in stealth grey metallic (the blue grey color) and think that it would look sharp to have everything color matched sans wheels and the gm oval side steps.

 

Is it possible to paint a chrome bumper or would I have to find a Denali bumper and have it painted which I'm sure would not be worth the costs.

You can paint the chrome bumper, it just takes a bit more prep work than a denali bumper. I'm not so sure I'd like that look with Stealth Gray.... it's a great color but I don't think the monochrome look of the front end in that color would work well.

i like the chrome. i'm actually not liking the painted front bumpers on the chevy ltz's.

I have been wanting to paint my bumpers black on mine. Body shop guy said it can be done. Would take a little longer then normal and cost a little more. But I think it would be well worth it.

I replaced my front bumper with a painted one and I plan to paint my rear bumper. The local Peterbilt shop is going to do it for me. They said they are going to scuff it with a some sort of media blast then then prime it, then apply a base coat clear coat imron paint.
