Can You Mix Decool And G05?

It looks like G05 and Dexcool are compatible, I always thought you needed a complete flush if switching from one to the other???

Apparently it's Zerex G-05.

 

Why worry about mixing it. If you want to use it, do a thorough flush.

 

Next question is why would you use it?

 

IMHO, I'd stick with the Dex.

OK,Thanks for pointing that out,BUT...It doesn't look like G-05 and Dex-Cool are compatible,G-05 is for Ford and Chrysler vehicles.

 

I agree,stick with the Dex-Cool,I've never had any issues with it in any of the trucks I've had,or any of my family's other GM vehicles that have it.
