Wheel Hub

I know of 2 cases personally: 1 was an '06, same model, with 30K & BOTH hub bearings failed. The other was an '02 2500HD that failed at 90K. I had one fail on a '94 K1500 at 225K. I have come to the conclusion from talking to many other Chevy owners in my travels that the hub bearings are a common failure, with no set time frame.

Guess it's hit or miss. GM had some crappy vendors from the late 90's on, judging from the little problems that seem to appear on every vehicle the same way (ie. hub bearings, non-replaceable bulbs burning out in dash, trans. shift relay failures, etc.) I hope they straightened this out for the NBS. Time will tell............
