2009 Silverado Extra Cab Z71 4x4 Power Increase?

I tow a 4,000lbs camper from time to time with my 2009 Silverado Extra Cab Z71 and am in need of more power out of my engine. I would like to know if anyone has installed anything (electronics, K&N Kit, etc) to increase the fuel economy or power in the Flex Fuel 5.3 Engine?

You need to tune your truck.

 

A lot of us have our trucks tuned. And for the most part, we've gone with Blackbear

Start reading there. I can tell you it makes a noticeable difference in the throttle response of the truck. I don't see any fuel economy benefits, but that's not why I tuned mine either
