What Kind Of Leveling Kit Is This

Never seen that before. They are usually spacer that mount on the top or bottom of the strut but that one in the middle.

Mine doesn't have that, it has a thin piece of plastic to prevent squeaking or something.

And ya, that wouldn't work as a leveling kit without longer shock piston rods. The Bilstein 5100s do something like that, they move the buttom of the spring mount up not put a spacer between the bottom of the spring and the lower spring mount.

Perhaps they aren't stock shocks? Maybe it's to give the springs a stiffer ride?

My truck is indeed stiffer than the identical new 09s I test drove. But how did the previous owner get the truck to sit level?

I'll have to crawn under it tonight and investigate further. I'll post up some pictures

Thanks for IDing it. I think I might have to get rid of it too and go with something that won't sacrifice ride quality like this one does.
