Question On Leveling Kit

Hey guys This might be a totally noob question but I just dont kow that answer. I did a search and didn't find the answer. I just recieved my 2.5" front and 1.5" rear Truxxx level kit Part #406035. I opened the box to get a look at the kit and I noticed that it had 6 spacers 3 for each side. Each one was 1/4" and a bottom shock spacer that measured 3/4" and the 2.5 inch rear blocks. So that adds up to 1.5 inches on each front side. What I dont get is how does that give me 2.5 inches of lift up front when the spacers and bottom shock spacer only measure 1.5 inches together. I am pretty new to all this leveling stuff. So I apoligize if this is a basic question. Has any one installed this kit and got the 2.5 inches out of it? Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks

ive installed a couple of these check out my leveling kit thread in my signature under my blue truck. It was adjustable 3" up front and 1" in the rear....when the kit is properly installed you do have a little bit of a rake but it will allow you to fit 33" tires. On my denali it was differnt cuz of the awd i had to re-adjust the t-keys to accomadate the correct axel shaft angles.

Most peopl like my blue truck just crank the keys up and slam a tire under them but you will get some axel bind at like 70mph if your not carfull.

geometry

extending length of strut assembly 1.5" is roughly 2.5" of hub relocation.

Thanks guys, I guess I should have paid more attention in geometry class back in the day. Now if I can find the time to put it on and decide on what wheels I want, I would be in business. Thanks again
