Wiper Blades

I know this has been covered many times before but I used the search function but its junk, anyway I bought the trico JUNK blades and I mean junk and they skip across the windshield unless its a down pore and are noisey as hell (flip-flop-flip-flop) the factory blades were great no noise or skip and I should have bought factory replacments from the dealer which I still may so what kind of blades are you using and model number, Thanks.

Autozone has new OE match replacemnts now (Duralast Lifetime). I beileve they were 22OE. Just make sure you get the ones that have the OE in the part number and they wrok and fit perfect.

I bought two sets of these from Costco and they seem to be pretty good. Long time durability is to be seen but I think they are a bargain at 7.99ea. I am going to pick up another set for my truck and save them until needed.

I bought the RainX laitude blades for $20 each. They are great just like the factory blades, if not better. But I actually had to read the instrustions just to install them.

I just bought some RainX blades last week and think that they are the greatest blade I have used in a long long time. I would say to try them you will like them. They were a couple of $'s more than the store brand and Trico, but I so far think that they are well worth it.

Went up to get the rain-x blades and yup you guessed it they didnt have the ones I needed as always, got a price from the dealer and they were 15 bucks a peice so I guess I will stop by there tomorrow after work and pick up a set, Thanks for all of your replys.

Canadian Tire (Reflex) actually holds the patent on those. I bought a pair, and was not impressed with their performance in the extreme cold. I hope they hold up better for you in the heat. Would you please keep us updated?

Will do. It's kinda funny that everyone praises the Rain-X blades because I bought a set a few years ago and thought they went downhill quick. Maybe I got a crappy set, maybe they are made better now, maybe I was smoking somethin'. If these don't workout, I'll go with oem's. My truck is over 2.5yrs old and has 32000mi with the original ones.

I usually get 3-4 seasons max out of blades, then replace them. I just buy all seasons and run them till they are toast. Had good luck with the blades from Walmart too, not the elcheapo, the next ones up.

I've been using the Bosch Icon blades, which look pretty much like the Goodyears above and I love them. Had them for about a year now and they're still working like new.

Not sure what Tricos you got but I've got two different kinds on my two vehicles. Trico neoforms on one and trico techs on the other. Both are beam blades like the Goodyear picture above. No noise and good cleaning.

I use the Aquapel glass treatment every 6-8 months and change the blades at that time as well.By using this combination I have had no problems with visibility in rain/snow.I have never had any chatter issues either.I would recomend the Aquapel if nothing else.

I have these awell on both our car and truck and so far no complaints,plus you cant beat the price

im a cheap ass so i bought 1 rainX latitude for my 99 sierra and it took a half an hour to put on.... i had to cut a little tab of plastic where it connects to get it to stay on... but it worked really really good and i actually bought 2 of them for my new truck
