Adjusting The Headlights

Hey guys i adjusted my headlights awhile back and they seem to not be even. What i really want to do is be able to adjust them back to their stock position, mark the screws, then adjust(like i should have done the first time).

Can anyone tell me how to do so? Im guessing you turn the screw one way until its either all the way tightened or loosened, then turn it back the other direction a certain amount of times.... and this part of the process is the part i need to know

You find a level area where you can park the front of your truck 20 feet from a wall. You measure to the center of the bulb and then mark that on the wall (tape or something), then you adjust the low beams until the top of the beam is at that mark. Finding a level area big enough is the hard part.

Since there can be differences in the vehicle heights up to an inch, I doubt there could be a "turn 2 turns counter-clockwise from full stop" that would get it right, would get it close, but not correct. Just drive around, get a feel for the approximate height, drive about a foot or 2 away from a wall, adjust one so it's a guess of where you want it, then adjust the other to be even, then take for another test drive.

That's how I did it and it only took 2 tries to get it right for the level.
