Vacume Issues

So I'm pretty sure I'm having vacume troubles.

When I start my truck it will drop to 500 rpms and the gauge will twitch a bit and the engine almost dies.

Any idea would really help me out!?

then tonight when i got up to 2000 rpms my truck made a jerking feel like it was trying to shift but it wouldn't. then the engine would go vroooooom then go back to normal.

check your throttle body for build up.

so one of my valves could be cloged?

so should I use some sea foam or whatever that stuff is

No the EGR is an external valve. looks like this....

 

Its located at the front of the driver side Exhaust manifold.

Sorry though... this type of EGR doesn't have any lines you can unplug. Check around the base of it for cracks, or exhaust gas puffing out while you have the engine running, and for the love of God...be careful its next to the alternator...watch your fingers.
