Hey,

My name is Jason and I am a truckaholic. Ok, not really. My 95 ECSB Z71 Sierra hit 300,000 miles last week and I was lurkin on the web. Google-searched "high mileage pickup" and was directed here.

I'm a mechanic. I've worked at two different Chevy dealerships in the last decade. Other than intake reseals, water pumps, radiators, one alternator, one starter, brakes, tune-ups and a few transmissions, Soccer Mom has been a really good truck. I did replace all the ball joints and steering linkage pieces two years ago - just for piece of mind.

That's all I've got for now. If any of you have any suggestions on how to get on one of those GM commercials showing the high mileage trucks, please let me know!

Thanks,

Jason

Thanks for the warm welcome! She's not much to look at. She has that typical early/mid nineties GM clear coat issue. I used to live in IN, the truck was originally purchased in OH. She has seen her share of salted roads. She could use a piant job, but I don't want to take away from her character. :P

LOL. OK - I will see if I can snap some pictures. I also drive an 05 GTO. Truck gets most of the driving duties though. The GTO is usually down getting more parts put on her.

I love hearing about the trucks that make it that long... My dad had a Blazer that he drove 323,000 before trading it in and now has an S-10 with 289,000. Chevy's really can last a long time with a little TLC. Welcome to the site
