Oem Wheels

Hey guys I'm considering taking off the moto metals and getting some factory wheels instead. I love the look of the moto metals but they have a different offest and backspacing than factory and parts of the body are starting to get some rock chips from all of the gravel I drive. I think that a set of factory wheels (maybe 20's?) is the direction I wanna go just to keep my truck decent! I plan on owning this thing for a long time so I think this is the route I'm gonna go. My question is this. Is there anywhere I can look for factory gm wheels? I know the classifieds is a place to start but I was just wondering if anyone other than GM sells them new?

Ebay and Craigslist  I assure you, you'll have the same issue with rocks chipping the paint with factory wheels. My 20's are the same spec as the GM 20's and I've actually had my truck painted twice by GM because of it. Mud flaps help but don't entirely stop it.

Call you local tire/wheel shops also. They may not be new, but for a lot of people new wheels is their first mod.

Thanks guys and yea stevens you could be right. I would hate to spend more money getting the wheels switched up and have the same problem. Maybe I should be looking at a different solution. Where was your truck chipping? Mine is getting bad in and around the rear wheels wells. Right in front of the rear wheels where the clear film is is the worst. Maybe if I do some colour matched gravel guard it wouldn't be so bad?

All the GM dealers around my area are adding huge heavy duty mud flaps to the GMT900s before they go off the sales lot. With thousands of miles of gravel /dirt roads to travel on, these trucks look like trash after a couple of years even with the stock wheels and tires on them. GM dealers got so many complaints about damage, that the flaps are added free of charge to all trucks and SUVs now. Back in 07 I had to pay extra for the flaps the dealer had added to my truck at the time of sale without asking me first.
