Candy Coated Taillights ?

Ok i saw this on a for sale ad, how do you do this ?? Id rather not join the site just to ask the guy and im sure its an old ad too.. im more concerned with turning the Turn signal Red then i am with tinting the lights

Mine are candied and tinted. You can use Testors Candy Apple Red to get the candy look. It takes a lot of sanding, and a lot of prep work.

Oh,so basically your changing the Amber color to Red.

is there another way to make them red ?? i just dont like the amber lense.. does anyone sell aftermarket lenses that are red ?
