New Addition Coming Monday

Well I am getting very excited for monday. The wife and I are going to the hospital so she can be induced with our first son. So I will post a few pic when I can.

Good luck, we were there in Nov. Hopefully it is short for you, we went in on a Wed (she was induced) and left the hospital at 11:59pm Saturday.

A far as sleep I have to say we really lucked out. Everyone said you will never sleep again blah blah blah. After 2 nights being home he started sleeping through the night and has now since Nov. The baby really hasnt affected our sleep all that much actually. We usually put him down between 8 and 9 at night and he will wake up between 4 and 6am. Every once in awhile he will wake up at 1 or 2 to eat. Just Pray I guess

Yeah...Congrats man...I was there 9 years ago now.

Everything changes with a kid man...but its all for the better. And in no time you'll have a little gearhead and an extra set of hands around the shop.

 

Enjoy the times you'll have man...this 9 years has blown by for me. The whole Navy thing isn't helping either.

We have a 2.5 year old daughter and a 4 month old son. You will really enjoy having him. The first few weeks are very consuming but it gets better after that. Try to spend two nights at the hospital if you can. It will give your wife an extra night to recover. I also suggest letting your son sleep in the nursery. When you get home you are not likely to get much sleep so let the nurses help while you are in the hospital.
