Wheel Swap

My 2006 silvy has aftermarket wheels on it. I want to find the proper coded P25 wheels for it to look stock again. Anyone have pics of what a P25 Code wheel should look like for 2006 silverado?

 

The Build Sheet for PRO codes show 17x7.5 alum 5 spoke premium alum wheel

 

Someone told me they have a set of wheels from a 2005 avalanche that would work.

 

Do these rims swap with these vehicles? I am new with full size trucks.

Should swap without any problem. Only thing you have to watch is with later model trucks, you can no longer run a 16 inch wheel due to brake clearance issues.

I think 2006 is the first year that can no longer fit a 16" wheel due to monster front brakes. Last year napa gave me the wrong part numbers for my rotors, when I was about to put them on I noticed a huge difference. They are larger in every way. Had to take them back in the middle of the job.

I am thinking they are the same rims as listed in this ad. Code P25 17x7.5 alum 5 spoke.

 

Another ? is does it matter if the rims came from a 4x4 or a 4x2? any difference?

 

Lugs nuts special from after market to factory to mount wheels? Would i have to get new lug nuts and covers as well?

Too bad you don't live closer. I have 3 of those wheels sitting in my garage w/out tires (caps included). I'd be willing to let them go for $25 a pop. Think I might have the lug nuts to the 3 wheels also. Located in GA
