Spend My $300 - '07 5.3l

Hey guys, noob here. I'm a Cummins guy myself and i'm good w/engines (can install pretty much anything too). But my buddy wants me to mod his 2007 GMC 5.3L Sierra and I know next to nothing about the 5.3. I'm hoping you guys can tell me what upgrade(s) will give him the best results for his money. He wants low-end torque especially and wants to keep from voiding his warranty. I'm looking at the stage 1 Jet performance module (may void warranty?) or the K&N FIPK air intake, what else, your thoughts?

I'd have to suggest a Predator, rather than sending the PCM off for a custom tune.

The Predator comes with 87, 91 and 93 octane tunes, that can be switched at any time in under 3 minutes.

If he ever has to go to the dealership, chances are, they will flash right over his custom tune, and then its gone...

The Predator allows you to restore your stock tune to the truck before going to the dealer, thus eliminating any warranty concerns or any worries about your tune disappearing!

There are quite a few happy Predator customers here, check it out!

I'd have to suggest a Predator, rather than sending the PCM off for a custom tune.

The Predator comes with 87, 91 and 93 octane tunes, that can be switched at any time in under 3 minutes.

If he ever has to go to the dealership, chances are, they will flash right over his custom tune, and then its gone...

The Predator allows you to restore your stock tune to the truck before going to the dealer, thus eliminating any warranty concerns or any worries about your tune disappearing!

when did they go that low...when I wanted one for my truck they were friggin 750 bones...that's why I have the W4M tune.

We offer TCM support (not just engine tuning), free tune updates, and easy PCM swap. If the dealer flashes over it, not a problem, we have all our customer's tunes, stored on our servers.

Oh yeah there's no TCM support for the NNBS is there.

Would have worked fine on my 03 though...they were just way too much for me to plug it in tune the truck and toss in my storage room never to be seen again.

Most Predators have never been higher than like $399...???

Do you have a remote tuning solution for T43 TCMs?

We are not far from releasing an update to add TCM support to the Trinity, which will include 6 speed TCM tuning, which currently can only be done in person.

This will open the ability to send and receive TCM email tunes for the new 6 speed trucks.

You also get datalogging, the ability to read and clear trouble codes, and the ability to make changes to your tune should you need to, without pulling the PCM, parking the truck, and waiting a few days...
