They say they have never seen one on earth but every blue moon. They state....." In what has been described as a "one in a zillion kind of mutation," biologists say that the animal has lost control of its pigmentation, an occurrence that is extremely rare."

 

 

If it is truly this rare, and has a full melanism and others have had only small pieces and partial sequences in its DNA, go for it, capture it and study its genes, etc. No use in a shark just killing it and this marvel going no where.

 

What do you think?

 

Capture it and let others view a marvel or just leave it out there to which it will have a sure death and no benefit other than letting nature doing its thing.

 

 

Also, keep in mind, this is a penguin, not a killer whale. It's alot smaller and MUCH more practical in keeping it in captivity without being ridiculous.

its a freaking panda, i diden't see any mention that this panda was captain of a tug boat on the high seas lol so hows it going to get ate by a shark....i'd rather see it die in a natural way then be starved and domesticated in a zoo, speaking of that anyone hear about the 11 siberian tigers that got starved in a chinese zoo??

zoo went broke and they ended up not being able to feed the tigers, if your talking about the actual people of china well probably because they are over populated last i knew a third of the earths population

Its a penguin!!!! Its obviously a great hockey player. I feel the NHL should adopt it and put it in the next draft.
