Lost my job after 13 years with company, Business was slow so we closed up what a bummer. Looks like all my truck projects are on hold for awhile. But I keep reading this forum. I love it......

Sucks man, there is A WHOLE LOT more of that going around than what is being 'reported', my sister has been on the ropes as a Licensed Architect none the less, for months now.... day to day. teachers are getting laid off left and right, schools are closing, whatever.... freaking stupid.

Michigan has been in a slump longer than most states. Hopefully it will pick up again soon.

man that sucks man...ive seen in the news that the usa well...some states are not doing very well the past year...same as canada...back where im originally from is Ontario...norther ontario, thunder bay area. its DEAD and i mean DEAD everything is shut down. my home town is a ghost town! Soft-wood lumber industry is SHOT, every mill, every logging company is tits up couldnt handle un-employment anymore. thats why i moved to alberta 5 years ago...the recession never made a lick of a difference here! DIRT2OIL BABY!!!!!!!!!

I'm grew up in Lockport area, outside buffalo/niagara falls, delphi/harrison radiator, same thing, depression for 60+ years now.
