if it were me id get a nice seat cover to cover up the leather..but i'm a cheap bastard...i mean patching it would look ghetto..or you could take it to an upholstery shop and have the seat all redone....or use duct tape

Where are you from, Jeff?

There are some folks who do professional upholstery repair that might be able to fix it up. I know of a few in various states depending on where you're from.

First thing; check to see if it is leather or vinyl. Most auto seats are leather on the seating surfaces only and the sides of the seats are matching vinyl.

If it's a small teat and the material is vinyl, then decent results can be obtained with a vinyl repair kit.

Permatex Vinyl & Leather Repair...... NAPA Balkamp 765-1553

It works as long as it is not really bad and your ok, with the fact it is going to look like a monkey's butt.... I have done probably 10 or 12 of my cars I have had over the years....... There is NO LEARNING CURVE HERE on this product.... But it holds great....

A knife with a metal pocket clip is murder on leather.....:sigh::P

Hope this helps..
