Leveling Kit

So I am trying to level out my 2009 GMC Sierra. I don't have the tools to do it myself or anything so I was looking to take it to a professional. But let me get to the pictures first...

This is my stock z71

I ordered these for it

But everywhere I go they recommend just getting a spacer of some sort. Whats the price I should look around to getting these installed or is their a better option?

Those are def the favorite leveling kit on this forum. I have them because I saw so many others had them. I had a shop do mine but only becuase I had a few other things being installed at the same time. I'm pretty sure you could easily do this with some help and common tools but if you want to do it professionally than go for it. I think I paid about 140 for install.

A local mechanic charged me $80 to put mine on. I'm a perfectionist and wanted it done right. I didn't want to mess with trying to do it myself. You may be able to find someone to do it cheaper than that.

So these do work good then? I've had them for about 3 weeks and they have been sitting in my truck. I just wanted alittle more input on them. Thanks alot

Don't be afraid to do it yourself. It may look intimidating, but just follow the instructions and it is easy. Except for the part about loosening off the upper strut nuts- I didn't bother.

really easy to do, but i didn't have time to do it and wanted it before i went to this camping trip and they got it done in an hour and a half and i got it done for $115 for installation and alignment.

make sure you get an alignment afterwards.

hardest part was getting the strut to line up with the holes...if you have a few hours and some basic tools you can DIY and save the $$$ for your next mod....
