Another New Project

Well in some area's it has started to come up after 5 yrs. I bought the rustoleum professional kit (I bought the reg kit last time) and clearcoat. Got the floor washed tonight (damn power washer wouldnt start) and it is ready for paint tomorrow. Here are some before pics.

This is why I have never painted the garage floor....Never ending job. :(

 

You have a very organized garage by the way. :cool: I can't believe when I drive down my street how many people have so much junk in theirs that they can't even get a car in it.

yea its not bad. Right now I have stuff everywhere. My generator and air compressor and chain saw are in my hallway in the house :cool:

But, It's not a never ending job if you use the right product the first time. That Home Depot crap never holds up!!!

But, It's not a never ending job if you use the right product the first time. That Home Depot crap never holds up!!!

 

 

Actually I think it has held up well except where the salt sat on the floor in the winter after snow/etc fell off the vehicles. I think the pro kit will be much better though

Glad to hear you've had good luck with it and are addressing the issues where there is failure. Hopefully you won't have these problems again.

 

But, a good epoxy is designed to hold up to salt, chemicals, etc..., and shouldn't fail. These "box store" kits are somewhat functional, but they are more of a decorative system for homeowners.

2-1/2 hrs and I am done with the epoxy. Clear Coat tomorrow :cool:
