Nice truck, what did you do with the stock rims? You can't turn off the TPMS, you have to add the TPMS sensors to your new rims so the light will go off otherwise it will be on every time you turn on the truck.

Thanks!

The stock rims are actually in the bed of the truck awaiting storage until winter time. Oh well thats kind of annoying to not be able to shut it off the TPMS. I mean its a cool option to be able to check your tire pressure from the DIC but is it really necessary?

Did the truck come with the 17s or 20s? Yeah, it would be a good option to turn off the TPMS.

You can transfer the monitors from the factory wheels to your aftermarket ones, most likely.

But yes, mandated for manufacturers to install by law. Really useful. See if you can get them swapped over, or just by a new set, and have everything working.

Great truck, BTW

purdy.... I've always loved those wheels

yes Ive always liked these wheels. solid piece of polished aluminum with a nice basic design. easy to clean and looks good especially on trucks.

thanks

My Silverado also came with 17s from the factory, right now I have my 20s on though.

the 17's arent bad but I couldnt figure out the dealers thought process on this one. You put the pro sport package on the truck which gives it a bunch of chrome and then they keep the 17" aluminum silver painted rims. Then they had the 20" chrome wheels on a basic truck. Though, I am thinking Im probably better off having the stock wheels anyways. Winters can be brutal around here. especially with the amounts of salt and sand they throw on the roads.

is the pro sport pkg a regional thing?

I dont believe its regional. Its a series of options sold as a package. I think it was around $2000 for the pro sport package. There is not much information about it though. I know they have sold them in past years but you really dont see many around.

That site shows what the pro sport package includes. It says its a limited production option though I dont know what they mean by the word "limited" if its an option

oh ok cool thanks for the link. Its a dealer added option (kinda like the protection pkg LPO on mine, mud flaps, wheel well plastic, and bed rail covers)

We need MS3Dale....... What is the RPO?????? I have never seen one.... Your truck looks good dude... I like the chrome grill..

I am shopping for a new truck... I must admit if I don't find a truck with the package I would be game for a grill swap out for that one...

We have a lot of local GM/dealer commercials here advertising the Pro-Sport and saying "chrome...chrome..." repeatedly. That's the main selling point they use.

But yes, otherwise, trim, emblems, and chrome, the only unique pieces being the Pro-Sport emblems. Like the Texas Editions, etc. Looks nice, regardless.
