Do You Like The Prerunner Cali Look, Level Look, Or Stinkbug Look? Kit

You guys gave me hell, so I'm gonna take the dive in to my pockets and spend some money.

My truck: 08 Silverado 2wd LT

Ok, I'm getting adjustable biltstein 5100 all the way around with 4" spindles giving a total of 7".

My question now is go prerunner look (the cali look) or go level all the way around?

I'm having it installed tomorrow!

Max setting on the bilstein is around 1.7"

4+1.7= 5.7"

PS.. we didnt give you hell. stop trying to start all your threads off with "tough talk" :dunno:

I remember everyone telling you not to go cheap and to save up for quality stuff. They weren't giving you hell.

And as far as the look it's your truck so what do you like best? I like my truck looking level so that's what I went with.

from what I understand it's the geometry. I read a few places 1.75 but once it will stretch. From what someone was telling me that is the stretch of the actual shock and not the stretch of the vehicle.

see what I'm saying? That's what I was told regarding it.

Ok, dropping her off in the morning, got some decent used tire off craigslist until I have time to find a nice set and we'll take it from there.

I think I will go with a slight cali.

Why?

I figure the spindle is 4" and the biltstein adjustable max at 3in due to the geometry after the 2" streched shock. The rear will also have a set of biltsteins.

So the front will be 6.5"-7". To level a truck its a 2" spacer, etc and that will get you pretty damn close. well, If I throw in a 3" block in the rear that'll be about a slight cali right? I'm thinking if we throw a 4" it may bring it pretty damn close and not noticeable that there is a difference in rear height.

Maybe your experiences of what i am describing may have a few things to add so I have a better idea before going in. Let me know as every little bit helps and the assistance of you guys has been a great help. I'll post pics tomorrow.

So does that all sound about right in terms of the height of front and rear with what I have?

You were told wrong. The 1.7" is the "lift height", not the length increase of the shock.

Well, guess you'll find out in a few hours....

Its Conan man, how could you forget the 80s?

Hey, do you think my tires will rub if I throw on 35x12.50x20?

I was born in '87

But I do remember Conan, just didn't recognize it
