Isn't The Customer Supposed To Alway Be Right!?

So I bought a hood deflector and a DU-HA storage box for my truck. Installation of the DU-HA was easy and it works great.

Now here's the problem. When I opened the box the deflector came in, it cracked when I was pulling it out. So I went to take it back to see if they would exchange it and they told me they wont take it back even tho its brand new.

I now have to buy another one and wait to install it :lol:

Anyone have any ideas on how to return it or get a new one or do you think I'm screwed and should just suck it up?

If you cracked it, probably not. If it was cracked when you opened the box, then sure.

Rule number 1: The customer is always right...

Addendum to rule number 1: ...except when they're wrong.

Rule number 2: Re-read rule number 1 and its addendum until they sink in adequately.

:lol::cheers:

I doubt it broke on removal from the box. These things are pretty darn tough. No, I am not saying you did it... I'd bet it was damaged somehow prior to you getting it.

Contact the manufacturer and see what they say...I got one for my birthday right after I bought my 98 GMC. It was cracked when I opened the box. I tried to take it back to exchange it and the store wouldn't exchange it. I contacted the manufacturer and explained to them what happened. They sent me a new one and asked that I send the cracked one back to them when I received the new one. They even paid shipping on the one they sent me and supplied a return postage label to ship the cracked one back.
