Free MODs you CAN'T do to an '02 5.3L

Well, I've looked around at the "free mods" for LS1 engine hopups.  So far here is what can not be done on an '02 5.3L.

 

1. EGR mod - '02 doesn't have one

2. stock air tube; remove silencer appendages and plug hole with a spray paint can top - '02 has one piece molded

3. remove snapin silencer in bottom of airbox - '02 doesn't have one.

4. grind down throttle blade stop - '02 80mm already looks straight.

 

Only item that I have been to accomplish so far is a K&N filter replacement.  Even that isn't an official drop in, as the '02 is not listed yet with a CARB number.

And let me just throw in that the frame design on the rear of the 02 is different than the 01 and prior so the cat-back kits for the previous models require different hangers.

I won't mention how long I looked for an EGR tube on my '02.

I'm interested in some free mods for my '00 Silverado.

 

I know about the MAF screen removal mod, but I haven't heard of any of the 4 mods you have mentioned here.  Any information on these (or others)?
