Auto-tilt Mirros

I've had my 2010 Sierra for a few months now and I've noticed I don't have my auto-tilt mirros. You know where you throw it in reverse and they auto tilt down to give you a better view. I did a lot of research on line before I bought the truck, and I thought the exterior SLE package gave you auto dimming, power folding, heated auto-tilt mirros, on both sides. I am from Canada, so I'm not sure if maybe the packages are different up here. I've also noticed that only my drivers side mirror has the auto-dimming feature.

Is there anyway to tell if my truck was supposed to come with this feature? Or to know if I paid for this feature and didn't get it? Is it worth taking back to the dealer to get them to fix it/install it?

Thanks in advance.

Do your mirrors have power fold? I would think that you would have them. I can turn it on and off in my DIC. Try looking through there and see if it is just shut off.

I do have power folding, and I looked through the manual to figure out how to change the pre-set for the auto-tilting, but I do not have that option in my DIC.

You must have the memory package to have the curb-tilt feature,Only the LTZ/SLT trim level has the memory package. The LT/SLE trim level does not have the memory package/curb-tilt mirrors.

Only the drivers-side mirror dims.

I believe that all GMT800s with steering wheel buttons and optional turn signal arrow mirrors had a fully operational curb tilt feature. I have the turn signal mirrors, but not the steering wheel buttons, so I cannot use the curb tilting feature on mine, even though a separate switch is provided. I have the power folding feature though.

Yes,On the GMT800's this is the case,But on the GMT900's you must have the memory package. (I had the curb-tilt feature on my '04 GMT800 without the memory pkg.)
